Successful series of clinics for FC Twente Women comes to an end
This year, FC Twente Women once again organised several football clinics for young girls at clubs across the Twente region. The clinics give the participants the chance to train alongside their idols.
The series of clinics concluded once again this year at Excelsior’31 in Rijssen. The entire squad and coaching staff of FC Twente Women were in attendance. Turnout was high: over 90 enthusiastic girls took part.
During this clinic, the players divided the girls into small groups. The training session focused on technique, teamwork and finishing in front of goal. The aim was clear: to keep things moving, to further promote women’s football and, above all, to have lots of fun.
During the finishing drill, player Jill Roord helped the girls improve their shooting. Jill: “It was a fantastic day. It feels good to be able to contribute in this way to promoting women’s football in the region.”
As well as the training sessions, there was plenty of time to ask questions, collect autographs and take photos.
