Sanne Wevers & Jelle Snippe in action at the Olympics

On 28 July, Sanne can secure her place in the final for her specialist event, the beam. The final will be on 5 August at the Bercy Arena in Paris. On 2 and 3 August, Jelle will appear on the tatami at Arena Champ-De-Mars for his individual matches and the mixed teams.

Jelle Snippe makes his debut
Weighing 113 kilogrammes, Enschede-born Jelle Snippe is a lightweight among judo heavyweights. We have been following him for several years and the contact has always remained. Jelle became our first ‘Green Apple’ last year, as part of our Green Apples programme to support talented athletes. That he gets to make his debut at this year’s Olympics already is really fantastic!
