Ten years after her Olympic gold. And there she is again!

In 2016, Sanne Wevers made Dutch sporting history by winning Olympic gold on the balance beam in Rio de Janeiro. After the Olympic Games in Paris, she actually wanted to retire. But she still had one wish left: to compete in a World Championships on home soil.

Wevers balk

And now the time has come! At the age of 35, Sanne is back on the world stage, this time in Rotterdam. A special moment, after all those years of training, persevering, celebrating successes and overcoming setbacks.

Sanne, enjoy everything you’ve worked so hard for. Enjoy the atmosphere in Rotterdam, the crowd and, above all, that one moment when you’re back on the balance beam.

Good luck, Sanne!
